Kirkby Moss Model Flying Club are a dedicated group of enthusiasts who fly radio-controlled model aircraft. We have been in existence since 1994 and have a dedicated flying field based on the outskirts of Kirkby, Merseyside. If you are new to model aircraft flying, or an old-hand at this hobby, you will be sure of a warm welcome at this club. Our membership spans from complete novices to experienced flyers.

The club has excellent resources including a hut, food & drink refreshments, cooking facilities and field maintenance equipment. Flying is possible all week (10am to 9pm IC, others 10am to dusk). If you are interested in model flying, building, or any other related topic then please contact us! |
We are affiliated to the British Model Flying Association (BMFA No. 432). The BMFA are the national representative body for model aircraft flyers in the UK.

2012 BMFA Insurance is due!
We are now processing next year's BMFA insurance. Prices are as follows:
Seniors: £31
Junior: £16
Family Senior: £31
Family Partner:£20
Family Junior: £12
Remember that you need valid BMFA insurance to fly at KMMFC. If your insurance expires, please bring your fees on the day you wish to fly.
No BMFA insurance - grounded! No exceptions! |
Remember Your Safety Flights!
Will all members please note that it is important that you have completed your annual safety flights within the allocated Jan-June period. If they over-run this period, or you haven't been to the club in this peiod / membership expired, you must NOT fly solo until the safety flights have been successfully completed. If you have any queries, please contact a committee member. |
