Directions to the flying field

Kirkby Moss Model Flying Club (KMMFC) flying field is located off Molly's Lane, Kirkby Moss.

If driving from Liverpool or Manchester direction, you will need to get on the A580 (East Lancs Road)

Leave the A580 and get onto the A5208 (Boundary Road), junction shown by the blue circle. Follow the A5208 along past QVC until you meet a small roundabout. Take the second turning off to Perimeter Road. Immediately right turn into Molly's Lane.

Follow Molly's Lane until you meet Sandy Brow Lane, the first turning on your left. Follow Sandy Brow Lane until it disappears into a dirt track beside a farm house (marked as a red square). Follow the dirt track onto Red Cut Lane (unsigned) until the track takes a sharp left. You will meet a steel gate marked 'private road'. Open the gate and drive through. Please remember to close the gate on entry. Continue until you see the KMMFC club hut (painted dark green). Turn left into the flying field through the gate.
