Miss Dolly Rose
Miss Dolly Rose hails from the wilds of the West Country (land of witches, fairies and cider) where she dreamed of becoming a burlesque performer, before descending upon the grandeur of London town where she began performing in 2008.
After some expert tuition from Jo King at the London Academy of Burlesque and Gypsy Charms at the Ministry of Burlesque, Miss Dolly Rose began her quest to bring the wit out in burlesque, drawing on her dance background in ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary to produce delightfully funny routines based on 50s stereotypes, fairy tale princesses and even going back to her roots with a West Country themed pitchfork, hay and cider extravaganza!
Getting regular bookings ever since she first performed, Miss Dolly Rose recently took her particular breed of glamour to the London Burlesque Festival where she came second in the best newcomer competition. Since then she has continued to wow burlesque fans around the country with her unique humour, handmade outfits, saucy smile and clever choreography.
